Passport Services at the London High Commission
The Kenya High Commission in London processes ePassport applications for Kenyan citizens in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The process requires:
- Complete your application and pay online at eCitizen
- Book a biometric appointment - contact immigration@kenyahighcom.org.uk
- Attend the appointment at 45 Portland Place with all original documents
- Processing takes 4-8 weeks - your passport is sent to Nairobi and returned to London
Fee: KSH 12,500 (paid via eCitizen, approximately GBP 77 at current rates)
Kenya eTA for UK Citizens
British citizens need a Kenya eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to visit Kenya. Apply online at etakenya.go.ke.
- Fee: USD 30 (approximately GBP 28)
- Processing: 48-72 hours
- Validity: Single entry, up to 90 days
- Apply: At least 1 week before travel
