Kenya eTA for US Citizens

American citizens need a Kenya eTA to visit Kenya. Apply online at etakenya.go.ke.

Passport Services at the DC Embassy

The Embassy processes ePassport applications for Kenyan citizens residing in the United States. The embassy also has accreditation to Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

  1. Apply and pay online at eCitizen (KSH 12,500)
  2. Book a biometric appointment via email at immigration@kenyaembassydc.org
  3. Attend with all original documents (ID, birth certificate, current passport)
  4. Processing takes 4-8 weeks
